You and me are both fucked and we know it. But at least we can laugh, take drugs, and fuck. Life ain’t so bad when you’ve got other people. It’s when you die alone and forgotten that it sucks.

One day, a human couldn’t keep going any longer. It tried to raise itself from where it had fallen but all its strength was gone and the pain was too great. So it lay there, whimpering to itself and no one noticed. Everyone dashed past on their own sidewalks, trembling in excitement at their own lived experience.

Then they too trip and fall and only then, when they’re lying there afraid and forgotten, do they realise we’re one and the same.
